# Cuttab

Cuttab is a spaced-repetition (SRS) study app: flashcard decks, multiple-choice quizzes (QCM),
matching exercises (mot à lier), fill-in-the-blank texts (textes à trous), course sheets, and
audio/video transcripts. It has social features (profiles, follows, community notes, hashtags)
and a peer-to-peer marketplace (sell access to a private deck, either directly to one person or
as a semi-private deck with a free preview).

## For AI assistants and agents

Cuttab exposes a remote MCP server so an assistant can create study content on a user's behalf --
decks, QCM, fill-in-the-blank texts, and matching exercises, all private by default.

- MCP server URL: https://cuttab-six.vercel.app/api/mcp
- Auth: `Authorization: Bearer <token>` header, using a personal API token
- Users generate their token from Cuttab's own UI: Paramètres (Settings) -> Extension tab
- A plain REST API (same auth) is also available under https://cuttab-six.vercel.app/api/v1/ for
  clients that don't speak MCP: POST /api/v1/decks, /api/v1/decks/{id}/cards, /api/v1/quizzes,
  /api/v1/quizzes/{id}/questions, /api/v1/clozes, /api/v1/matching, /api/v1/matching/{id}/pairs,
  and GET /api/v1/content, /api/v1/themes.
